LINDMOOR RUN CLUB

Prepare Your Child for DeKalb County Elementary Fall Sports!
Join our fun program to get ready for Cross Country, Track & Field, and Soccer
July 10 - August 2
Wednesdays and Fridays - Open to all abilities and ages!
​$25 Registration Fee
When: Wednesday & Fridays from 6:00pm - 6:45pm beginning July 10, 2024.
6:00pm - 6:10pm     10-minute run/walk warm-up
6:10pm - 6:20pm     10-minute running drills and form work
Water Break
6:20pm - 6:35pm     15-minute running games and relays
6:35pm - 6:45pm     10-minute stretching and core work
Where: Lindmoor Woods Swim & Tennis Club grassy area by creek at the corner of Burgundy Road and Delia Drive.
Instruction: What the athletes will be learning.
  • Gradual conditioning through running and games
  • Proper running technique with drills and activities
  • Learning proper stretching
What To Bring: Required materials for sessions.
  • Water bottle
  • Running shoes
  • Wear running clothes

Kevin Graham
Meet The Coach: ​Kevin Graham is an established member of the Atlanta running community, bringing over 30 years of unparalleled expertise as both a runner and coach. Notably, he etched his name in history as Georgia Tech’s first NCAA Cross Country All-American in 1994. His illustrious running career includes six Georgia State Championships in cross country and track, along with a prestigious appearance as a Footlocker National Finalist. His high school accomplishments were recognized with the induction into the Georgia High School Cross Country & Track Hall of Fame in 2013.

For the past two decades, Kevin has passionately dedicated himself to coaching, leaving an indelible mark at both private and collegiate levels. At Emory University, his leadership steered teams to four NCAA National Cross-Country appearances, while privately mentoring numerous athletes towards their personal bests. 

Kevin’s own achievements as a runner are equally impressive, highlighted by personal records such as a marathon time of 2:27:45 at the Pittsburgh Marathon (1998 US Championships), a half marathon mark of 1:09:36 in Atlanta (2001), a 10K best of 29:36 at the Raleigh Relays (NC State University, 1996), and a 5K record of 14:09 at the SeaRays Relays (University of Tennessee, 1996). His enduring commitment to the sport continues to inspire athletes and enthusiasts alike, embodying a legacy of achievement and dedication in running.
